Grade school students begin with ancient architecture and the study of the pyramids, Greek columns, castles, floor plans/spatial proportions and the principles of design.
Middle and high school students study sustainability, renewable energy, recycled building materials and environment. Future plans are underway to include computers for photography, movie making, animation and computer aided design (CAD).
Our lesson plans are created by local professionals and college students from the fields of architecture, engineering and environmental science willing to share their knowledge and expertise. Participating instructors are expected to become career mentors to the program’s high school students.
